Yoga Class Pricing and Payment Policy I aim to keep all my yoga and yoga therapy offerings as reasonably priced as possible whilst covering all running costs involved. With costs currently increasing, profit margins are squeezing. I therefore need to remind everyone of the terms below to avoid the need to increase class prices. The running costs typically include Room hire Insurance Yoga Training and CPD First Aid updates GDPR registration My travel Yoga and IT Kit and maintenance Booking system Website Zoom and other Subscriptions Time (planning, preparation, travel, teaching, admin and accounting). In most cases the system currently works very well but I need to restate/remind everyone of the terms and the reasoning behind them. I hope this is of help. Some face to face classes are more in demand than others. Room hire varies across all venues I hire but I keep the class prices the same for simplicity. I offer up as much flexibility as I am able. Eg if a student misses a booked class, they are able to attend one of my other classes that month. I use an online booking system and have set up a choice of two class ticket types. 1 - monthly pass - where a student pays up front (prior to or at the start of the first class), a single fee, covering all classes of that type in that single month for their preferred class. By choosing this option, the student receives each class during that month for a reduced price compared with the pay as you go (PAYG) price. Classes and payments cannot be carried forward into future months. 2 - Pay As You Go (PAYG). By choosing this option, the student can choose which classes they wish to attend in the month (any venue, online and any in person). The student can also choose to book and pay for these classes up front or at the start of the class, where spaces are available. With this option, the rate is higher per class compared with the monthly pass option. With option 1, the student takes on a level of risk by booking ahead and securing their mat space in all classes (at that venue at that time in that month). In return for taking that risk, they benefit from the reduced fee. Nobody else can take that place. The student risks that they may not be able to attend a class for a personal reason. If a student is unable to attend one of their booked sessions, they are welcome to attend another class/venue/online in that same month to make up for the lost class. However, if the student is unable to take up this offer, it is not possible to carry classes or payments forward into a future month. With option 2, I risk the chance that class places may not get filled. Please note: If a class is cancelled by me (Freedom Yoga and Relaxation) for what ever reason, each person will be refunded. I am currently able to accept payment online (via my booking system), in cash or by cheque. My preference is online via my booking system for accountancy/administrative reasons however, I respect the choice of all to make payment by cash or cheque if preferred. 1/10/2023
